Hatsune Miku, Vocaloid, The worlds virtual diva

I don't know if you guys know about this (this may or may not go under the genre of J-Pop) But Hatsune Miku is pretty much the worlds virtual singer. She is from a program called Vocaloid developed from Yamaha and a japanese voice actress. She's growing really popular lately and could revolutionize the Music industry, since Vocaloid has released a line of singers besides her, and really having a singer with unlimited potential at your fingertips with a program is pretty cool. But it makes me wonder, if this could take over the industry in a good way, as in broadening music, or a bad way as in pretty much having the whole music industry taken over by computers, which is rash sounding but could happen if we're not careful. I mean the industry always searches for perfect and this is pretty close.
