You were already already in an argument over whether or not an electric guitar could produce 8-bit effects. If you can no longer respond, you lose that argument.

I've lost debates and fights before for various reasons. I never enjoy it but no one can win every time. But this wasn't a fight or a debate and there was nothing to be lost or gained.

Lose - to suffer defeat or fail to win, as in a contest, race, or game

He wasn't trying to beat him at anything. He just made a statement was corrected and said okay.

Sig never tried to fight was Travis was saying. He asked for an explanation and Dshiz jumped in saying he lost.
